Yoga: Relaxation & Meditation


Enhance your day to day life by experiencing an inner sense of well being, peace and harmony. Explore and heal the impact of stress and tension on your body and in your life. Learn to use yoga practices to foster deep relaxation. Participants learn simple practices, including gentle yoga postures and breathing techniques, and are encouraged and supported to develop their own personal home practice. Classes include meditation and relaxation practices, such as Yoga Nidra, a deep relaxation practice which has many benefits.

Please note: This class is suitable for pregnant women, however the program followed may be different from the rest of the class.

Materials
Loose comfortable cotton clothing and yoga mat.
Bring blanket or towel and cushion for relaxation.

Developed a basic knowledge of yoga
Gained basic skills relating to a group of new yoga poses
Learned correct breathing techniques
Achieve more flexibly and strength
Learned how to relax, de-stress and centre themselves
Gained sufficient knowledge to develop their own personal home practice.
