This course will focus on the creative development of a variety of wedding events, paying special attention on how to source the resources required to ensure your special day stands out.
Essentially practical, the course is filled with interesting activities and case studies to enhance your present skills regardless of your previous experience and expertise. Tailored particularly for those wanting to learn the basics of event management in order to apply to wedding planning, as well as for those looking to further enhance their skills. It is also suitable for small businesses wishing for betting understanding of their wedding clients overall needs.

During this course, the intention is that the following topics will be covered, though not necessarily in the following order:

• Starting at the beginning – setting your aims and objectives
• Wedding types – what type of celebration will you plan.
• How to develop your wedding – theming, your ceremony, entertainment, catering and venue/ site selection.
• Identify all your wedding elements – bringing them all together
• Managing your stakeholder expectations
• Devising your budget – affordability and keeping your finances on track.
• Planning and organising – setting your schedule and running order
• Post wedding etiquette

By course conclusion you should have gained the skills and confidence to

Course materials are provided, however, please bring a notepad and pen, a folder, and a plastic sleeve or scrapbook.
