Turkish Cookery

Discover the richness of Turkish culture and cuisine as you create authentic Turkish recipes age-old favourites with a modern twist. Learn to put together a glorious Turkish spread from shish kebabs to exotic pilavs, from sarma (dolmades) and a mezze plate that will be the talk of the town, to decadent desserts and gozleme. All taught by the passionate family matriarch Emsal.

In combining her passion for Turkish cooking and her avid interest in sharing in Turkish culture and history Emsal offers a truly ‘Turkish’ experience to her students. Her classes are informative, inclusive and inviting. As with all City East Community College cooking courses, this course has a hands on approach to cooking and offer all students an opportunity to actually learn to make the dishes as opposed to simply watching a demonstration.
