Landscape Painting


Enjoy painting the view beyond the window, and using photographs of landscapes as a reference. Learn traditional techniques and employ your own imagination. This workshop includes reference material, compositional tricks, and a colour mixing demonstration. You can expect to produce a body of work inspired by landscape. Full creative expression is encouraged, and students of all levels, including complete beginners, are welcome.

Materials
6 Stretched Canvases (min size: 20 × 25 cm) preferably all the same size. Can buy cheaply from discount stores.
Photographs of landscapes and / or seascapes (e.g. taken by you or Internet printouts)
Magazines to cut up (e.g. National Geographics, travel catalogues)
Glue Stick
Scissors or Cutting Knife
Apron or Paint Shirt

Optional:
Paint Brushes and Acrylic Paint if you have them.
Large Cardboard Box or drop sheet (to transport wet artwork home in)

All other materials are supplied in the course fee.
