English Reading & Writing: Evening Classes

Develop your English reading and writing skills to communicate effectively in everyday life or at work in an Australian context. Our highly qualified English teachers ensure the classes are interactive, informative and social. This is an intermediate/upper-intermediate class and topics covered will include:

  • Writing formal and informal emails, formal letters, job application letters & resumes
  • Drafting and proofreading strategies
  • Spelling, Vocabulary and Grammar
  • Skimming, scanning and other reading strategies required to decode workplace texts

All students are assessed before attending and placed in their appropriate level. Evening courses are at 10363 NAT Certificate II in Spoken and Written English or 10364NAT Certificate III in Spoken and Written English levels.

Please note: To attend this course, you will need to make an appointment for an assessment.

For Australian permanent residents who are unemployed the fee is reduced to $20.
Price for non-residents (tourist, working holiday and other types of temporary visas), the 10 week course will cost $300. Please enrol and additional payment will be taken after assessment.
