Boxing For Fitness

Boxing for Fitness at City East Community College provides a great workout for women and men alike. This boxing class gets you sparring in pairs with one wearing gloves, the other pads, then you swap. Add in some shuttle-runs, abdominal exercises, push-ups and stretching and you have yourself a great full-body workout that burns calories, conditions your entire body and lets off steam at the same time.

NOTE: All equipment is provided and class numbers are limited to ensure personal attention and safety.

Materials
Loose comfortable clothing, bottle of water and towel.
Thin cotton gloves, to line the boxing gloves (available from chemists, approx: $2 a pair).

If you have any questions about how your physical or medical condition could affect your participation in a fitness course please seek advice from your medical practitioner before enrolling.

All courses need a minimum number of students to run. If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed. For your convenience information about class cancellations or changes are made initially via email and SMS, please ensure these details are correct.
