Balance Fit

Improve your balance and strength for better health and well-being. Research has shown that better balance and co-ordination will improve your mental sharpness and general well-being. This course is suitable for any fitness level and each exercise can be made more challenging as you get stronger and fitter. Focusing on increasing balance and strengthening back, core and legs, the workouts will be varied and interesting so that you learn new exercises that you can do at home.

IMPORTANT: If you have a pre-existing medical condition, such as back pain, it is necessary for you to consult and receive clearance from your doctor before joining this class.

Materials
• Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a towel and water bottle.
• Bring a yoga or foam mat.

Learning Outcomes
• Gain an understanding of how to use best form in each exercise.
• Improve enjoyment of exercise knowing that they are effective in improving balance.
• Apply knowledge
