Tech Savvy Seniors -Understanding your MAC

A hands-on introductory course to help you learn how to use an Apple laptop or iMac.

Discover the Desktop, Dock, Finder and Menu bar. Learn to store files, create folders and organise your documents and downloads.
Use the Finder to navigate and access applications and files through the icon, list, and column views.
Work with System Preferences to customise your desktop, dock, track pad or mouse and other settings.
Includes an overview of the dock icons and applications.

Jargon free language is used and the pace is not rushed. The class will be conducted in a supportive, friendly, fun environment designed to conquer any fear of Macs you may have.

Please bring your Apple laptop to class if you have one.

The Tech Savvy Seniors Program is part of the NSW Ageing Strategy which was launched in July 2012 by the Minister for Ageing at City East Community College and is an initiative of the NSW Aging Strategy, funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telestra.
