Excel for Small Business

Assessments are made against units of competency.

This Tech Savvy for Business course is designed to take participants through the basics of Microsoft (MS) Excel and includes use and creation of simple spreadsheets and charts; how to create formulas, as well as working with functions and formatting techniques.

On successful completion students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for BSBITU304 Create and use spreadsheets from Certificate III in Business BSB30115.

It is part of the Tech Savvy Small Business program supported by the NSW Governement. If you are a small business owner, (20 employees or less with a annual turnover of less than 2m) wishing to upskill yourself or your staff, you may be eligible for fully subsidised training. To be eligible, you must be:

An Australian Citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen and
Be aged 15 years or older, and
Live or work in NSW, and
No longer be at school or equivalent.

To be eligible for Tech Savvy Small Business training, you must be the above, plus:

An owner of a small business, OR
An employee of a small business.

A Small Business is defined as a business with:

20 employees or less, OR
An annual turnover of less than $2,000,000.
