This Tech Savvy for Business course will help you develop the skills to establish and maintain a sucessful Business networking presence.

It is part of the Tech Savvy Small Business program supported by the NSW Governement. If you are a small business owner, (20 employees or less with a annual turnover of less than 2m) wishing to upskill yourself or your staff, you may be eligible for fully subsidised training. To be eligible, you must be:

An Australian Citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen and
Be aged 15 years or older, and
Live or work in NSW, and
No longer be at school or equivalent.

To be eligible for Tech Savvy Small Business training, you must be the above, plus:

An owner of a small business, OR
An employee of a small business.

A Small Business is defined as a business with:

20 employees or less, with an annual turnover of less than $2,000,000.

Prerequisites
You must have a personal Facebook account and be familiar with its use. Including the following
Navigating the Facebook interface on a computer (Windows PC or Mac)
Following the News Feed
Creating different types of postes to your Facebook Friends
Basic internet skills

This course will provide students with the skills needed to establish and maintain a networking presence, using the most common social media tools and applications for both work and social purposes.

• Represent a business using social media and networking tools
• Use social media tools to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and future employers
