Rubi has been dancing Flamenco for over 20 years. She studied at the Amor de Dios Dance School in Madrid and various academies in Granada and Jerez under flamenco greats such as La Tita, Belen Fernandez, Merche Esmerelda and Rafaela Carrasco. Rubi is the founder of the La Vida Flamenco Dance Troupe and has performed works for theatres and other venues in Sydney and Canberra.
