Materials

  • graphite pencils-2B, 3B, 4B 6B pencils
  • Compressed charcoal(round cross section)soft or medium
  • willow charcoal-thin or medium
  • 2B and 4B Wolff carbon pencil or medium charcoal pencil
  • 20 sheets A2 cartridge paper
  • masking tape
  • hard eraser, soft/kneadable eraser
  • bracing board (A1 or A2 size) - this can be a purpose built or just a bit of masonite board or similar with bulldogs clips to attach your sheets of paper.
  • On the first evening your tutor will discuss other materials required throughout the course.

Mixed Media

Unlock your creativity as you learn an array of different drawing techniques and be shown a variety of mixed media. Combine your favourite methods to create ‘wall hung’ art peices.
