Singing in a group is a joyous endeavour that bridges cultures and centuries. Take your vocal talent from shower to stage with this exiting community project which encompasses traditional and contemporary choral music including both ‘classical’ and ‘popular’ works. Supported by the City of Sydney Local Community Grants scheme, this project aims to create a community choir based in the Kings Cross area . Music will be chosen in consultation with participants, so if you want to join a choir that values participants input, look no further.

Singers of all levels of experience and vocal range are welcome. It would be an advantage to be able to read music or to have participated in a choir before, but this is not essential as the emphasis will be on listening. Led by our singing instructor Pru Holloway and supported by an accompanist, the intention is to become a performing choir for the area.

At the beginning of the first session will be an introduction and assessment of new participants.
