Meditation can be a powerful tool to enhance health and wellbeing. It can also be healing in a wholistic way through bringing you into closer contact with your true self. Mindfulness-based stillness meditation is practiced at the Gawler Foundation, which is a not-for-profit organisation offering integrative programs for people with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as programs for people who wish to take a preventative approach to health and wellbeing.
The technique will be taught in small steps over 8 weeks, enabling participants to experience meditation in a gradual way, with feedback on their practice available on a week by week basis.
Materials
