This two day workshop will have you creating your own fabulous resin jewellery, using pre-made moulds you will be able to make a selection of beads, bangles and rings. Learn about the different resins available, how to mix colours and imbed items into your pieces.

Materials

Please bring a packed lunch as no close takeaway options.

• Pen, Paper
• Apron, old work shirt – please wear old clothes
• Eyewear protection
• Cheap Paint brush medium size
• Tweezers
• Scissors

Optional

• Moulds - items should be flexible not rigid, i.e. muffin silicon baking trays, soft ice cube trays in interesting shapes.
• Suggested items for inclusions in your resin pieces:Metal objects in any form, i.e. small packs of screws, nuts, bolts, washers, locks

Small machine parts, clocks, watches, old phones, computers.
Natural or synthetic threads, yarns, ribbons or textiles.
Sticks, dried flowers, dried herbs, spices, tea
Shells, starfish, beads, pebbles
Pieces of coloured glass (frit) or plastic.
Paper, foils, photographs

VERY IMPORTANT: All objects used in a cast MUST be thoroughly dry.
