Join us for this hand’s on workshop that will help you design, install and maintain your own balcony or kitchen garden.

Join us to answer some of your questions such as:

How do I to create my own organic potting mix?
How do I choose an appropriate potting mix for my pots.
What type of pots are best for a balcony or courtyard garden?
What plants do I choose for the indoor areas that will help purify the air?
What vegies and herbs are best for pots?
What organic fertiliser should I use?
What quick tips can I use for organic pest management strategies for my balcony garden?

Materials

Morning tea, gloves and tools are provided.
Please wear appropriate clothing for doing a spot of gardening outdoors and closed shoes.

The community garden adjoins Clementson Park on Ebley Strett. You can access the garden from a driveway on Newland St, next to the child-care centre.

There may be some parking available at the child-care centre; if not, Eastgate is the closest car park.

It’s only a short walk from the Bondi Junction bus interchange and train station.
